Hugs is an experienced, full-time performer, specializing in family entertainment. You may have seen Hugs at various fairs and festivals in Virginia, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania.

Local regular business appearances include Fuddruckers and Joe's Inn. The Magical Comedy of Uncle Curt & Hugs was featured on stage at the 1997 and 1998 Va. State fair. Hugs has won awards for balloon skills, costumes, and skit competition. She has taught balloon classes in local schools and at conventions.

Using a mixture of comedy, magic, story telling, puppetry, juggling, face painting, and balloon art, we offer entertainment for the whole family.

Face Painting By Hugs:
Want to be a tiger? How about a puppy? Hugs can paint most anything you request. Our face painting products are top quality and approved! All of our products comply with European and United States FDA requirements for safety. They also comply with ASTM standards and hold a "child toy safety rating". The products never chip or peel and wash off easily with mild soap and water or wet wipes.

Removal:
We recommend you either use a little baby shampoo on a wet wash cloth or we prefer a high quality baby wipe. Our suggestion is Huggies® brand "Supreme Care ®", unscented baby wipes. They work quite well in removal and the materials used are mild on the skin. Avoid the use of any product that uses fragrances or alcohol in any form or harsh soaps. The bottom line is one should not use any paint on the face or skin that does not have a FDA ingredient approval and is regulated as a cosmetic good. It has been reported that There are ingredients in acrylic paints that are banned for use in any food, drug or cosmetic. That alone makes them unsafe.

Enamel paint is for metal - Poster paint is for paper - Fabric paint is for fabric -
 Face Paint is for faces - and, acrylic paint is for - CRAFTS!!

Our face painting products are regulated as a cosmetic good and are just as safe as something you would find at an upscale cosmetic counter. We do not use any materials in our products that could cause harm. This includes the full range of materials from the FDA compliant glitter we use in our glitter gels to the FD&C reds we use in our red face paints. Never use any product on the face that does not specifically say it is FDA compliant and safe for use on the face as a cosmetic good.
